# How do I center the cab and even out the bumper-to-cab gap on a Raider or Raider N?

## Use this guide to center the cab when the bumper-to-cab gap is uneven. It covers shimming the pivot block, torquing the cab mount, and readjusting the fenders.

Use the Cab Mount Shimming Instructions, Rev F, to correct an uneven bumper-to-cab gap on Raider (LET) and Raider N (LNT) trucks, diesel and BEV. The instructions cover cab centering, model-specific fastener torque, fender adjustment, and final verification.

\## Complete Repair Instructions

[\*\*Cab Mount Shimming — Cab Centering and Fender Adjustment, Rev F\*\*](https://service.battlemotors.com/hubfs/Cab%20Mount%20Shimming%20Instructions%20-%20REV%20H.pdf?hsLang=en)

Read the complete instructions before starting. Follow all safety precautions, repair steps, torque specifications, and verification requirements in the document.

\*\*DANGER: Never rely on hydraulic pressure to support the cab. Fully tilt the cab and install the lock pin in the safety bar before working beneath it.\*\*

Record before-and-after gap measurements, the side shimmed, and the washer count per bolt on the repair order. Include the required before-and-after photos.

Stop and contact Battle Motors Dealer Support if mounting damage is found, the cab shifts back after tightening, the side-to-side gap difference cannot be brought to 0.25 inch or less, or fender clearance cannot be corrected with the available bracket adjustment.
